IL State Mandate

The IDFPR now requires all physicians and other health care providers to complete one hour of implicit bias awareness training as part of required continuing medical education.  This class will be required for the 2023 physician license renewal and for each renewal thereafter

This one-hour requirement on recognizing implicit bias in health care applies to all licensed healthcare professionals. Learn more under Sec. 2105-15.7 here.

AAFP Prescribed Credit - The AAFP has reviewed Implicit Bias Training and deemed it acceptable for up to 1.00 Enduring Materials, Self-Study AAFP Prescribed credits. Term of Approval is from 07/17/2023 to 07/16/2024. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.


AMA PRA Category 1 Credit - The IAFP is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
