Chicago Essential Evidence Update Conference

March 20-21, 2020

After much careful consideration about holding non-essential gatherings during the COVID-19 situation, and in consultation with IAFP Acting President and Board Chair, the in-person March 20- 21 Chicago Essential Evidence Updates Conference and the in-person March 27 – 28 Peoria Essential Evidence Updates conference, was a virtual webinar-based meeting.

Essential Evidence Updates conference is available via webinar on Fri., March 20, 9am – 4pm (with a break at noon for lunch).  The amazing information will now be available in the safety and comfort of your home or office.

IAFP recognizes that Family Physicians are the front lines of COVID-19.The potential exposure for this non-essential gathering is not worth the risk to you or your patients and the communities you serve.

We recognize that the timing of this decision significantly inconvenienced many. Due to the unexpected change to a webinar IAFP will fully refund all in-person conference registration fees.  Please allow up to 5 business days for this to occur.

We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for understanding. If you have any questions regarding the Essential Evidence Conference, please contact Kate Valentine at [email protected]; for questions about refunds and  registration please contact Diana Hernandez at [email protected]

About the Essential Evidence format

 What previous attendees told us:

"The content was superb - the rapid flow - the interactive nature of the speakers. I will definitely use the PDF as a reference!"
"I like the fast pace and great amount of high yield EBM information. I really enjoyed the clinical inquiries and the Help Desk."
"Very focused and useful evidence based data I can use in my clinical practice. Answered questions that I have wondered about but not been able to take the time to look up myself to see if data/recommendations have changed."
"It's like they were in the clinic with me for the past six months, looking up my clinical questions!"
