Learning Objectives:
- Improve PCC’s understanding of the unmet medical needs, clinical practice guidelines, and scientific evidence, while managing the cardiovascular and/or renal risk in patients with T2DM.
- Improve PCC’s understanding of the unmet medical needs, clinical practice guidelines, and scientific evidence regarding treatment of patients with one or more of the following: T2DM, HF (including HFpEF and HFrEF), and CKD, as well as their interrelationships.
- Increase knowledge regarding the morbidity and mortality, and risk factors for chronic HF and DKD.
- Initiate guideline-recommended therapy in patients with chronic HF and/or DKD.
- Increase knowledge regarding the evolving evidence related to the safety and efficacy of SGLT2 inhibitors for chronic HF and DKD in patients with T2DM.
- Improve PCC’s understanding of emerging clinical information on the course of disease, clinical impacts, and management of patients with T2DM who have contracted COVID-19.
