All politics are local and your personal contact with a legislator as a constituent from their district is the most effective way to get involved in the political process.

You may be asked to send a fax or e-mail to your legislator to support, oppose or co-sponsor a particular bill.

Things move fast in the legislature, you may be asked to call your legislator right away to explain the family physician viewpoint of a bill and why he or she should support or oppose a bill.
