Meet our new Partner in Health

IAFP is pleased to announce our newest Partner in Health - RX2Live. Their system offers a unique approach to maximize revenue for physicians; provide corporations an enhancement of their workplace wellness programs; and assist senior care centers to provide Medicare-covered products and services that also increases revenue to the center.

One resource is their Chronic Care Management Program

IAFP members are invited to a March 3 lunch event to learn more. Sign up here to attend! The location is very close to UIC for those attending the Chicago Essential Evidence Update. In the meantime, receive a free practice analysis to see how much additional revenue this system could bring to your practice.

Federal Update

AAFP and other leading primary care organizations released a statement today with respect to gun violence as a public health issue.

Budget updates

AAFP and IAFP found reasons to applaud the budget passed by Congress last week. Both the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) and Teaching Health Centers were included. Learn more from the AAFP News update article.

The budget also included a two-year extension of the Independence at Home Demonstration. Rep. Peter Roskam released a statement praising the extension of IAH. "Programs such as Independence at Home and policies like the ambulance extender are critical to Medicare beneficiaries," said Rep. Roskam. "Representative Roskam has been a steadfast advocate for frail elders and persons with disabilities through his sponsoring of the Independence at Home legislation, which supports medical house calls," says [IAFP member] Dr. Thomas Cornwell, CEO of the Home Centered Care Institute. "House calls provide better patient-centered care, supports caregivers and enables patients to remain at home and avoid hospitals and nursing homes. The resulting cost savings fully fund the program."
