2) Discuss how Buprenorphine normalizes the brain dysfunction of patients with longstanding opiate use disorder (OUD) allowing effective treatment and recovery.

3) Understand that Buprenorphine can be prescribed for Opiate Use Disorder (OUD) to people who are still using drugs to reduce harms and promote treatment engagement.

4) State that Medication Assisted Treatment with Buprenorphine for Opiate Use Disorder (OUD) has research proven outcomes for all of the following:
A. Reduction in overdose death rates
B. Reduction of criminality
C. Retention in Treatment
