Presented by:

The COVID-19 crisis presents some unique situations:
•    ‘Sheltering in place’ has provided opportunities to reach some via telehealth, but has also caused patients to delay in-person visits, or be unable or prefer not to do telehealth visits.
•    As the COVID-19 first surge abates, how can family physicians deal with the surge of in-person visits to their practice?
•    What special care needs to be given to patients with diabetes who had COVID-19?
•    What do patients with diabetes do if they have not had COVID-19?  What testing is available?
•    IAFP joined ADA Illinois’ lead to lower the cost of diabetes medications What other challenges do patients face with diabetes testing equipment and medications?
