Three Effective Coping Strategies in Crisis
Tuesday, April 28, 2020, 8:00 PM - 9:00 PM CDT
Category: Webinar

You are at the front lines of caring for your patients, as you always do.  The COVID-19 crisis has multiplied the stresses you face in your practice.  Your patients need for you has increased; your anxiety and fears have escalated.  Your loved ones are worried about your health, their health and durability.

Raymond A. Kane MSW, LCPC, presents concepts about how you and your practice teammates can cope, transform and potentially thrive through the COVID-19 crisis.   Mr. Kane, a behavioral therapist with Grace Family Counseling Center, has been an administrator for senior living facilities and a senior vice president for the development of those facilities.  He is an author and conducts workshops on emotional intelligence Living Drama-Free (c), and Dealing with Difficult People (c).

Our moderator Lucy Zielinski, Lumina Health Partners, is a practice management consultant, specializing in solo/small group practices.  Ms. Zielinski has worked with IAFP for 15+ years to aid practices.

After completion of the activity, participants will be able to
o  assess how they are managing their challenging emotions of fear, anger and sadness
o  plan for how they will address dealing with drama, and
o  strategize how to express positive emotions despite the challenges they face
