SAMs Workshops
IAFP is pleased to present FOUR upcoming SAMs workshop opportunities.

Work on a number of ABFM’s Self-Assessment Module (SAM’s) together with your peers in a classroom-like setting and get it done more efficiently! The IL AFP SAM Workshop offers a convenient and high-quality solution for your busy schedule to complete the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) Maintenance of Certification (MoC) Self-Assessment Module (SAM).  This workshop takes you through the 60 core competency questions to determine the correct answers. After the session, IAFP staff will report your answers directly to the ABFM.

Training for PCPs on Adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities

The Tennessee Department of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities in partnership with the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center and TennCare (the state Medicaid agency) has created training for primary care providers with a parallel track to inform families and other caregivers. The training is comprised of 8 brief modules which total 1.5 hours. Training requires free online registration. Earn AAFP Prescribed Credits or AMA PRA Category 1 credits.
