2007 Tar Wars Poster Contest Winner

Tyler Keifer from Colene Hoose Elementary will represent Illinois at the national Tar Wars Poster Contest in Washington , DC July 16-17.  He was honored before the entire 4th and 5th grade classes in a surprise announcement.  Tyler also did television and newspaper interviews as his proud parents beamed.  Carolyn Rutherford from McLean County Health Department taught Tar Wars at Colene Hoose.  She and health department colleague Jackie Lanier visited 26 schools in the county with the Tar Wars program.
