What is the Tar Wars program?

Tar Wars is an in-school lesson on the image of tobacco use, refusal skills and tobacco advertising. A proven program, Tar Wars has received awards from the American Medical Association and the World Health Organization.

Afraid you can’t teach it??

It’s easy. The entire curriculum is provided to you and the school you choose. Questions to ask, answers to give, activities to do with the kids--all included. We also have slides and videos you can use. AAFP and DOC (Doctor’s Ought to Care) have additional handouts if you so choose, including stickers, rulers, book covers--a whole host of items.

OUR GOAL IS TO REACH AS MANY SCHOOLS IN ILLINOIS AS POSSIBLE.

WE NEED YOUR HELP TO MAKE THIS A REALITY! SIGN UP NOW AND ENCOURAGE YOUR COLLEAGUES TO JOIN TAR WARS!
