This CME conference will unite University of Illinois at Chicago, National Procedures Institute, and IAFP with Southern Illinois  University family medicine to provide the total primary care learning and networking experience!  Essential Evidence is a rapid-fire review of the most important research publications of the last two years. This CME conference, designed for both hospitalists and primary care providers, will examine a variety of topics related to the care of the hospitalized patient, including Infectious Diseases, Non-invasive Ventilation, Direct Oral Anticoagulants, Opioids, Concise Peritoneal Dialysis, Structural Heart Procedures, Seizures, Sepsis, Medicare Guidelines, Managing Hypertension, and Apps/Resources.  In addition, learners will participate in 2 of 3 hands-on skill stations on Inpatient Ultrasound, Non-invasive Positive Pressure Ventilation, and Lumbar Puncture.
