SAM Workshop on Hypertension

Join the Rush Copley Family Medicine Residency Program and work on the Hypertension ABFM Self-Assessment Module (SAM) together with your peers in a classroom-like setting, and get it done more efficiently. This workshop will take you through the 60 core competency questions to determine the correct answers. After the workshop, IAFP will report your answers directly to the ABFM.

Resident registration fees - $75

**This registration fee covers the cost of the workshop ONLY. This does not include any fees you will have to pay to the ABFM for completing the SAMs or for the MOC process. For questions on your MOC please contact the ABFM directly.**

Gather your colleagues and grab your lunch! Join IAFP once a month from 12:00-1:00pm CST and earn FREE CME. Don't miss the next two webinars on Perioperative Anticoagulation (January 28) and Adverse Childhood Experiences (February 25).

Call for Presentations

Are you interested in presenting or developing education for iAFP? We welcome you to submit through the online call for presentations and subject matter experts. IAFP members are the greatest resource for speakers and subject matter experts. Don't hesitate, complete your online submission today! The IAFP CME Committee will review submissions approximately every 4-6 weeks on a rolling basis.


Chicago Essential Evidence Update Conference

Save the date for the 2016 Chicago Essential Evidence Update Conference, taking place March 17-18, 2016 at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Conference registration is just $295 - New Physician members (less than 7 years post-residency) are $250, and Resident members are FREE!

Online registration will open in January 2016. Additional information can be found on the Essential Evidence webpage.

Smoking Cessation Leadership Center - Webinar Recordings

The SCLC is excited to announce their latest webinar recordings, eligible for CME for physicians and allied health professionals. New topics include "An Introduction to Motivational Interviewing: Focus on Tobacco Use and Dependence" and "Integrating Medications into Smoking Cessation Treatment: The Basics." These recordings, plus 10 others, are accessible from their website. Each online course has been designated for 1.5 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM.
