Crain's Chicago
Business

To the editor,
The family
physicians of Illinois give a pat on the back to the Crain's editorial
board for their "healthy attitude toward doing business."
Your advice to Mayor Daley, and everyone else who sacrifices for
their employer, is right on target. Preventative healthcare is important
to stay working and healthy and so is the recovery from an illness.
Nothing at the office is worth sacrificing your health; the work
will wait for your return.
Thank you for
reminding the business community of the Chicago area to put the
pressures and responsibilities of career in the proper perspective.
Sincerely,
Susan Rife,
D.O.
President, Illinois Academy of Family Physicians
