IAFP Call for Speakers and Subject Matter Experts

Is there a topic area that you would be interested in presenting/developing for the IAFP?  Do you have a presentation already developed that you would like to present?  We want to hear from you! The IAFP is looking for subject matter experts and speakers to assist with curriculum development and to present at our Annual Meeting, webinars, or other conferences.

Our “Call for Speakers” is now open!  Please fill out our online form to indicate your preferred topics and content format. At this time, we are working on planning CME for the 2013 IAFP Annual Meeting.  We are looking for clinical presentations or hands on workshops.  In addition, we are also looking for experts to present quick (15-minute) updates on the latest news regarding hot topics in family medicine.  If you are interested in presenting, don't hesitate, fill out the form today!  The deadline for Annual Meeting submissions is June 1, 2013.

Core Content
Review of Family Medicine, home study program. 48 Prescribed hours. This is an eight month, 575 question review program that features seventy-five questions each month and covers 21 major classifications of family medicine/primary care. Also available online at www.vlh.com 

New and FREE Online Early Motor Delays CME 
Pathways Awareness, in conjunction with the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), are proud to announce the availability of a new online continuing medical education (CME) course: Recognizing Early Motor Delays at the 2-month Pediatric Well Visit. The program, available at http://www.pedialink.org/cme/htemd is being offered FREE for all by entering the code PATHWAYS at check out.  Upon completion of the 20-minute course, eligible participants may earn a maximum of 0.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits TM, AAP, or NAPNAP credits.
